With a background in nursing and exercise physiology, Karen has spent her career helping people move toward health and well-being. After 25 years as a nurse, she shifted her focus to teaching movement, becoming a Stott Certified Pilates Instructor in 2004 and completing her RYT 200 at Yoga North in 2015. She’s also trained in Hot Power Fusion, PiYO, Soul Fusion, Trauma-Informed Yoga for Youth, and Yin.
When she’s not teaching yoga, Karen loves spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, backpacking, and playing pickleball. She also loves to savor good food, so you can always count on her for the best spots in town.
